Meet our Team
Allison Hall
Say hello to Allison Hall, our principal owner/co-founder/sales lead! (And next to her is Bernard, Allison and Tim's doggo)
Allison was born and raised in Rice Lake, WI (RLHS class of '00) and moved back to RL in the summer of 2023. Allison loves, loves, LOVES all things bikes! Especially riding gravel and mountain bikes.
Allison ran in (and finished!) the 2015 Twin Cities Marathon. She (mostly) enjoyed running but fell in love with riding bike when an old waterskiing knee injury popped back up and led her to start riding bike more.
Allison brings nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial experience to Northwoods Cycle. She built her professional music career by co-founding an arts non-profit organization in 2008 called Copper Street Brass, which is a full-time performing and educating ensemble that she helped build from the ground up into a premier flagship arts organization in the Twin Cities. She not only performs with the group but designs educational curricula and outreach programming (check them out at www.copperstreetbrass.org).
She's taught private trumpet lessons to students ranging from beginners through adults, and served as Adjunct Instructor of Trumpet at St. Olaf College.
Allison formed her own branding/design/consulting business, Bird in the Sky Design, in 2020 that helps businesses with logo, design, website building, and business strategy.
She is SO EXCITED to be back in Rice Lake to serve the wonderful community she grew up in!
Tim Bradley
Tim Bradley, our co-founder/owner/service lead was born and raised near Kansas City, KS and moved to Rice Lake in the summer of 2023 (Tim is married to Allison, our principal owner, and has been coming to RL to visit for over 20 years).
Tim loves to work with his hands...fixing things, building things, and problem solving when things need to be fixed up. He's been working on bikes for years, and his attention to detail, mechanical intuition, and desire to go the extra mile will serve us well in the service department to make sure your bike is fixed up right and on time.
He loves all things bikes...his favorite kind of riding is gravel and mountain.
Tim holds two music degrees, one from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and one from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
He is a performer on horn, guitar, and piano for Copper Street Brass, a full-time arts non-profit he co-founded in 2008 and built from the ground up into one of the premier arts organizations in the midwest. He also serves as Artistic Director, meaning he arranges/composes all their music they perform and also programs their concerts, education, and outreach performances...check out www.copperstreetbrass.org to learn more.
Tim has played guitar for over 30 years and plays in two rock bands in the Twin Cities...Treehorn (90s hard rock/grunge) and The MOB (classic rock). In 2020 Tim founded Nightjar Guitars where he builds, by hand, electric guitars from salvaged and reclaimed wood/materials.
Tim is thrilled to bring his entrepreneurial spirit and go-getter attitude to Northwoods Cycle, and is excited to serve the community of Rice Lake and help keep your bike running smoothly!
Alex Wolff
Alex Wolff is Northwoods Cycle’s co-owner and CFO. Alex was born and raised in Mandan, ND and lives in the Twin Cities. As friends and work colleagues of Allison and Tim (our other co-owners), Alex has been visiting Rice Lake to vacation and recreate since 2010.
Alex and his wife Anna (who is an Occupational Therapist in the Twin Cities) enjoy all things outdoors: hiking, biking, camping, climbing, paddling, dangerous rope climbing over vast river chasms, you name it.
He holds a degree in music performance from the University of Minnesota. Alex is a performer on trombone for Copper Street Brass, a full-time arts non-profit he joined in 2010 and helped build from the ground up into one of the premier flagship arts organizations in the midwest. He also serves as Executive Director of Operations, meaning he does all the booking, legal, taxes, insurance, etc. and also helps balance the books...check out www.copperstreetbrass.org to learn more.
He is an avid player of tabletop games and D&D, and serves as the DM for a long-running D&D campaign in the Twin Cities. He also enjoys DMing one-shot D&D games with friends. In 2023 Alex founded an Etsy shop called Master The Dungeons where he crafts, by hand, fully-modular and amazingly-realistic tabletop gaming terrains.
Alex is very excited to bring his knowledge, experience, money-smarts, and entrepreneurial experience to Northwoods Cycle!
